The Contribution Pillar · Sadaqah Jariyah · Building the Muslim Trojan Legacy
Ummah@USC connects Muslim Trojans across generations — students, alumni, families, and faculty. We're inviting the first hundred alumni to become Founding Members and put this community on a permanent foundation.
0 / 100 torches lit
Every monthly member lights a torch. When all hundred burn, Ummah@USC's core programming — alumni-student events, city Hubs, and the Alumni Weekend Tailgate — is funded for the year, every year.
USC grads are doing well. For less than one coffee a month, stay tied to the community that shaped you — and hold the door open for the next generation.
Monthly gifts are what build the legacy — steady, predictable, sadaqah jariyah.
You can choose which fund your gift supports — including Zakat — on the next screen. Zakat-designated gifts are restricted to the student hardship & scholarship fund, which supports students in need in accordance with zakat guidelines. All other funds are sadaqah / general charitable support.

We don't ask before we show. Here's what the community has already done — and exactly what your membership funds next.
Our first joint event brought alumni and students into the same room — and raised over a thousand dollars to support Ummah and MSU members.
Every dollar moves one of our three pillars.
Programming that celebrates our heritage and faith — and builds belonging and pride across all generations of Muslim Trojans.
Mentorship bridges between students and alumni, and pathways into careers and leadership through the Trojan Network.
Scholarships, campus support, and a culture of giving that uplifts students today and endows the community for tomorrow.
Ummah@USC is a registered 501(c)(3). Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. EIN: 33-4049578.
You'll receive an automatic tax receipt by email for every gift, including each monthly charge.
Manage or cancel your monthly membership in two clicks from any receipt email. No calls, no guilt.
Designate your gift as Zakat (restricted to the eligible student hardship fund) or Sadaqah for general support.
Steady gifts let us commit to programming a year out — Hubs, mentorship, the Tailgate — instead of fundraising event-to-event. It's also the spirit of sadaqah jariyah: the most beloved deeds are the most consistent, even if small. One-time gifts are always welcome too.
Yes. Ummah@USC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for membership gifts, so your contribution is fully tax-deductible. You'll get a receipt for every charge.
Yes — choose "Student hardship & scholarships" when you give. That fund is restricted to zakat-eligible uses. Gifts to events, Hubs, and general operations are sadaqah.
Your presence is the gift. Come to events, join the newsletter, and bring a friend. If you'd still like to give, even $5 once means a lot — but this campaign is built for our alumni to carry.
Every receipt email includes a manage link — change your amount, update your card, or cancel in under a minute. Or just email us at Ummahatusc@gmail.com.
